Song Details from the album New Beginnings

Rosemary Clooney

This is a song originally made famous by Rosemary Clooney.  Julie was quite intrigued by it.  We were also intrigued by Louis Prima and these two songs just seem to fit.  We really had fun with it (as we do in our shows).  David Scott added the great tenor sax playing and Ian Scherer again added perfect guitar accompaniment.

Come on a my house, my house, I’m gonna give you everything

I ain’t got nobody
Nobody care for me
I am sad and lonely
Won’t somebody take a chance on me
I’m gonna give you some sweet lovin’
All through the night
If you’ll be my honey baby
Tonight
I ain’t got nobody
Nobody cares for me

Come on a my house,  I’m gonna give you Easta egg
Come on a on a on a, my house, I’m gonna give you
Jazz with a twist and a chocolate kiss

I ain’t got nobody
Nobody cares for me

Come on a my house, I’m gonna give you candy
Come on a my house, I’m gonna give you everything

Now, I’ve got somebody
Somebody cares for me
